Hey there! I’m Colin. Most days, I’m absolutely loving life in Southern California. With a husband, 4 kiddos and a job as an educator, I’ve got my hands full. Lots of ‘wifing’, mothering (which-by the way-doesn’t end once children become legal-just saying/warning/advising), teaching, mentoring, daughtering, sistering and did I say ‘wifing’? Oh, I said that already, huh? 😉
My favorite pastime for the past 20 years has been attending conferences, workshops, webinars etc and listening to interviews, podcasts and panel discussions. I’ve gained so much information and insight via this outlet/hobby that I often find myself sharing with anyone who’ll listen.
A few years ago I had the vision of sharing a ‘wisdom chat’ via a Gut Punchers discussion forum, but life happened and stumbled in the way of the best-laid plans. I threw down the gauntlet after years of procrastination and gave myself a deadline of December 2017. With the deadline looming, I couldn’t wait to put some fantastic content together and get started; so here we are!! A little late, a bit ragged from the sprint…but we’ve arrived!! Woohoo!!
As you read this, I’m most probably drinking hibiscus tea or decaf coffee while eating snacks with my journal open. Need direction? Need some soul navigation? Relationship guidance? Self-care suggestions? Most likely it’s here in one of my journals. But don’t fret…I’m pouring from my soul and sharing my coveted journal content here at Gut Punchers for the Soul. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is needed to get setup?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty
penny? I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% positive.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

naturally like your web-site however you have to check the
spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I to find it very bothersome to tell the reality on the
other hand I will surely come back again.
